A helicopter carrying the vice president of Nigeria crashed on Saturday as it headed towards a political rally two weeks before the election, but the authority escaped the incident in Kogi state unharmed.

On February 16, Nigerians will go to the polls to elect a new president, in an election in which the current president, Muhammadu Buhari, will seek a second term.

A video posted on the vice president’s Twitter account, Yemi Osinbajo, showed the politician cheering his supporters after the incident. He posted on the social network that “We are safe and sound!”.

The cause of the accident is not yet clear. Spokesman Laolu Akande said the vice president will continue with his commitments in the state of Kogi.

“Vice-president Osinbajo’s helicopter suffered an accident when landing in Kabba, but he and the entire crew is safe,” the spokesman wrote.

The presidential candidates have been campaigning throughout the country to show their plans to lead one of Africa’s leading economies in the next four years. The key issues of the campaign have been corruption, security and the economy.

Buhari hopes his anti-corruption agenda can give him a second term, while the main opposition candidate, Atiku Abubakar, has said he will privatize state oil company NNPC if elected.

As 2019 General Election is fast approaching  the Independent National Electoral Commission of Nigeria (INEC)  released All You Need to Know About 2019 Presidential Election  by announcing  the holding of general elections on February 16 of the 2019 year, a regional publication reported today. The president of that body, Mahamood Yakubu, announced in Abuja to the press the calendar of the presidential and legislative elections and specified that the consultation to elect the governors and members of the assemblies of the 36 national states will be on March 2 of the same year.

HOW TO CHOOSE A PROFITABLE CAREER/ Career/according to Merriam Webster dictionary a career is a profession for which one trains and which is undertaken as a permanent calling. A career is the field of work an individual engages for a long period of their life. Your career is your work and usually it is from your career that you get your source of livelihood. One can have a teaching career, one can have a career in the banking industry, music industry, in the agricultural sector etc.
In the past people have less option for which career to choose. individual  usually adopt their father’s    profession or the profession of their  relatives. mean while they can  a farmers, herders, traders, fishermen, herbal doctors, sculptors, carpenters, potters or blacksmith. human habitat  in the river rime areas  engage fishing as occupation along side individual   who have good soil for planting go into farming, and many others  venture  into trade both among members of the same community and between two communities (inter-community trade).
